Domande frequenti

Take Care — ultimo aggiornamento: 15 ottobre 2026.

Risposte brevi, scritte su come l’app funziona oggi.

Dove stanno i miei dati?

Take Care è un dispositivo medico?

Giorgio Gaudio, persona fisica, Via Onorato Vigliani 89, 10135 Torino, Italia.

Come cancello tutto?

Frequently asked questions

Take Care — last updated: 15 October 2026.

Short answers, written about how the app works today. The details are in the privacy notice and in the terms of service.

What is a health passport?

A health passport is one place to keep information about your health in order: allergies, current treatments, vaccinations, documents and visits. Take Care keeps it on your phone and helps you show it to a doctor with a PDF you choose. It is not an official document and does not replace those of your doctor or hospital.

What can I do with the app?

Keep the passport (card, medical history, documents, allergies, vaccinations), see the day’s medications and mark the doses you took, turn on reminders if you want (they stay off until you turn them on) and keep a symptom diary that puts in order what you tell it, without interpreting it.

Where is my data?

On your phone, in folders that belong only to the app and that stay out of iCloud and Google Drive backups. There is no account and no server keeping a copy. What can leave the phone, and only when you decide, is listed in the privacy notice.

What happens if I change phone?

Your data does not move by itself: there is no account and no syncing. Before you change phone, make a backup from “Your data”: it leaves locked with the code you see only once, and you save it wherever you like. Then you restore it on the new phone. Without a backup the data stays on the old phone, and whoever makes Take Care cannot recover it.

Is Take Care a medical device?

No. Take Care is not a medical device, gives no diagnoses or treatment advice and does not replace your doctor. It keeps in order what you already have and helps you show it; decisions about your health stay with you and the people who treat you. See the legal notice.

How much does it cost?

Today Take Care is in testing and is free of charge. The conditions of use are in the terms of service.

Which phones is it for?

For iPhone and Android phones. It is not in the stores yet: the “Coming soon to App Store” and “Coming soon to Google Play” boxes on the home page do not lead to any listing yet.

Who is the owner?

Giorgio Gaudio, a natural person, Via Onorato Vigliani 89, 10135 Turin, Italy. He makes Take Care on his own. The rest of the owner’s details are in the legal notice.

How do I delete everything?

At the bottom of the settings, with the “Delete the passport” row: profile, documents, medications, log and conversations all go away. Or uninstall the app. What you have already sent to someone, like a PDF, does not come back: the privacy notice explains it.

How do I contact support?

Write to supporto@takecarepassport.com. One person answers, as soon as he can: there is no guaranteed time. He cannot open your passport or give medical opinions. What he can and cannot do is on the Support page.
